Sabine is seamless; knitted from the top down with eyelet detailing on the flared sleeves and hourglass shaped back.
It drapes beautifully worn loose, or wear it tied or fastened with a brooch. Knitted with just two skeins of brushed cashmere and silk, it’s a surprisingly affordable way to wrap yourself in luxury.
General knitting skills.
Small (medium, large, x-large, xx-large)
2 (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins Filatura di Crosa’s Superior
(70% cashmere, 30% silk, 25g/328 yds)
1.5 (1.75, 2, 2, 2.5) ounces Habu A-34
(100% cashmere, 404 yds per oz)
held together with
2 (2, 2, 2.5, 3) ounces Habu A-32B
(60% silk, 40% mohair, 373 yds per oz)
Note: one or two strands of N-75 fine merino (100% merino, 747 yds per oz) may be substituted for cashmere
24"–36" #8 circular needles and dpn’s (or second circ needle to knit sleeves in round) or size needed to obtain gauge.
Over St st using #8 needles: 18 sts and 25 rows = 4" square.
