I designed this piece as a part of A Verb For Keeping Warm’s monthly yarn and pattern club, The Pro-Verbial. It was a fun challenge for me because I could only use one skein of yarn (565 yards) and, of course, wanted a piece that could be worn several ways and fit a variety of people.

The result is this simple, floaty piece which can be worn as a long open vest or up around the shoulders (with the opening in the front or the back) as a shrug. Simple stockinette and reverse stockinette allows the yarn to shine.
