Three sizes and four styles: wavy, dimpled, spotty, and welted. These scalloped edge pots will make you happy…
They perk up whatever you put (or hide) in them. Super easy and quick, keep them on-hand for gifts, to hold a store-bought plant or whatever. You can use those little clear plastic plant liners sold in the garden section of any store… The large takes a 7", medium 6" and the small a 5". In addition, the large one holds a sweater-sized knitting project and the smallest one perfectly cradles a wound ball of yarn to keep it off the floor.
I love the way Eco Wool felts (it's the best off white I have felted with, yet) and it's a good value. But it's a big investment… nearly 500 yards per skein. You can easily make 4 large pots with just two skeins… and think how many small pots you can make…
I want to credit the fabulous Leigh Radford (www.leighradford.com) for teaching me the shibori felting technique used in the dimpled pot.
You must be able to knit and purl in the round. You must know how to felt (or be willing to learn!). You also need to know how to circular knit using two needles or how to use double pointed needles.
Two skeins Cascade Yarns Eco Wool or Eco Wool+ (478 yards/skein). See www.cascadeyarns.com for more info.
24" circular #13 needles. To complete decreases on the bottom, either use another circular #13, (any length) or #13 double pointed needles.
You will need a small amount of other feltable wool and 20-25 small scunci silicone rubber bands (for hair) to make dimples.

Not important for felting.
